Is there a more iconic CORGI die-cast model than the Batmobile? I think not. I was born in 1964 and began watching Batman as an enthusiastic 2 year old in 1966. It remains one of my favorite shows of all time...and the Barris Batmobile stands, 60 years later, as one of the most recognizable cars ever made. I asked for a CORGI Batmobile every year for Christmas and finally got one of the later production models circa 1975. As an adult, before CORGI began reproducing them, I sought originals out on eBay. I now own several...and I have been very pleased to buy a number of the newest issues directly from CORGI as gifts for my friends and my grandkids! CORGI sets the standard for toy cars via their quality construction and action features. I just love them!!! Keep up the good work, CORGI!!!
