Having a large (100+) original Corgi car collection that I started as a boy in the mid 1960's, like so many of us, that has been in storage for the last 35 years, I was quite disappointed in the quality of the MGB GT and the 300 SL I recently purchased. The scale was way smaller than the original 1/43 that Corgi cars were, and I noticed the ones in the catalog that did actually have a scale listed were between 1/48 and 1/52, much smaller than 1/43 original Corgi size. Additionally, for the price paid and description given, I certainly did expect a decent quality product, not so! These cars were basically Gas Station quality Chinese manufactured toys you can buy for $6.99 in my opinion, very substandard to the 1960's era Corgi's. I guess I will have to dig my original collection out and get to enjoying them again! if you were a true Corgi kid, you will be disappointed in the latest versions. Cheers!
An excellent resolution of the original Corgi James Bond Aston Martin. Reminds me of those old great movies with Sean Connery, Dr no and Goldfinger. If you had this toys a child you will love it
This is an awesome version of the Batmobile made exactly like the original Corgi car. You will love it it'll remind you of all of fun you had when you were a child with these toys
Ordered BMC Mini corgi model No485. These are a new reproduction of original corgi releases. At the time of buying they were not servicing Australia so I had to use a freight forwarding agent. Since they ship globally out of China it made no sense and was an added pain. Good news is they now ship to AU.
The model itself is a lovely reproduction with great cast detail and good painted finish. Worth the effort. It was 1 of 4 ordered and all were great reproductions.
Enjoyed seeing the car and admired the details. Happy to have it in my collection.
