I remember the car and the movie from when I was a child. This is truly unique and I wanted to add it to my collection.
I was excited to see a new version of the Chevy Impala, as I have two of the original Corgi models. The fire chief and taxicab models that I have seem to be of better quality, even given their age. And they are heavier and feel more substantial than the new Impala. I like the new color choice, but I miss the detail of a car antenna and I prefer the painted grills as opposed to the plastic chrome of the new model. The new Impala is nice, just not a knockout.
